Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) experience historical disadvantages and shared trauma that require culturally competent therapeutic approaches. I utilize trauma-informed approaches to help BIPOC individuals develop healthy coping skills to manage stress.
I am passionate about supporting immigrants because they experience unique challenges in dealing with trauma due to migration difficulties, acculturation issues, and navigating multiple cultural norms and systems.
