Meet Ori
Ori Onazi is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Virginia. She believes that the therapeutic process is a team effort that is successful when there’s vulnerability, honesty, and a willingness to be self-aware.
She strives to create a warm and welcoming environment for individuals to attain emotional, social, and mental wellbeing. She believes that clients are the experts of their own lives and her job is to support as they uncover the authentic, healthier versions of themselves.
After earning her bachelor’s degree, Ori completed a year of service with AmeriCorps. She went on to earn her master’s degree and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Counseling Education and Supervision. Ori also has experience with immigrant issues, family systems issues, and Relational Cultural Therapy.
